Incorrect engine timing can lead to piston-to-valve interference, potentially causing catastrophic engine failure. Please verify the following items carefully before installation:

1. Verify Kit Contents: Upon opening the package, check the belt model and accompanying components (such as idler pulleys or tensioners, if applicable) against the packing list to ensure everything is present.

2. Ensure a Clean Workspace: Make sure the engine compartment is free of oil stains and dust. Do not use any lubricants during the installation process.

3. Align Timing Marks: Rotate the crankshaft to ensure the timing marks on the crankshaft gear and camshaft gear are precisely aligned with the marks on the engine block.
